What exactly is tissue culture?
It's a way of growing a whole new plant from a tiny piece of tissue in a sterile flask filled with nutrient gel. Because everything is clean and controlled, the plantlets grow up free of the pests and diseases that spread through cuttings.
Are the plants healthy and pest-free?
Yes — that's the whole point. Growing in a sealed, sterile flask means the plantlets start life clean, without the hitchhiking bugs or disease that often come with imported cuttings.
